The weather gods smiled on Weaver-Vegas on Sunday as it warmed up nicely for a great day of riding and
racing. The "Gazebo Girls" looked cozier than hens in a coup in the recently remodeled open air registration
facility. Practice was loaded with gunslingers honing their skills for the upcoming National, but the racing
once again made the day complete.  Moto#1 was once again dominated by the "Badboy Tim Vannoy" but
Steve Ward pushed hard all day and got Tim in the last moto. Props to Brandon Hardesty who broke his
tib-fib in May and is back out pushing the guys in moto one, this kid is tougher than a steak at the Waffle
House.  Scott Spieler has clipped in and stepped up his game, dominating his moto all day. Hopefully next
week we can see a showdown with all the players in that group. ( Bonessi, Mundy, Bowman, Leppy and
the corner-hound MacMullen) a big full gate before Morristown will do you all good.  Moto# 4 turned into a barnburner, with "Sweet"
Emily Grice, Shawn"Fancy Shoes" Watkins, Action Jaxon Banks and Tripp Playaaahhhh slugging it out start to finish all day. "Too close to call!!!!" was the phrase of the day for this group  What can I say about Moto # 5, it had it all. Trenton Messer dominated the placings, but not without a battle from behind(and he knew cause he kept looking back, sheeeeeesh!!!). Owen Re-Diesler was on fire standing "and" pedaling all the way around the track. David "Milller-Time" Miller continues to impress since his reappearance, and smiles more than any kid I know. Even when he's "letting" someone go by. And Ashton Higgins left his heart and a little skin on the third straight doubles, but came back for the third moto and finished in the mix.  Thanks to everyone who came out to race and especially those who helped out it is greatly appreciated.   This Sunday is the last race of the season so after the racing ends stick around for a cookout, and some serious "chin waggin" about the  past seasons highlights and the bold predictions of glory for next year.  Since it is the end of the season, how about a wncbmx yardsale at the cookout. Bring out all the bike stuff you might want to sell and stick it on the fence, who knows you may end up getting rid of some bike clutter, and making some money at the same time.

  See ya next week,
  Jamie
